As a part of the resort's initiative to develop sustainability growth in its community, Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort partnered with Mamanuca Environment Society to implement curated experiences as a part of the Good Travel with Marriott Bonvoy program.

Our hotel guests will have the opportunity to enjoy unique activities on Fiji's Denarau Island while creating a positive impact, exploring and building deeper connections in local communities.

    Farm To Fork

A signature experience for guests as part of our Good Travel with Marriott Bonvoy program that offers meaningful travel, allowing you the opportunity to create a positive impact as you explore and build deeper connections in local communities. Due to increasingly intense and unpredictable weather events, there is a need to promote awareness around more sustainable farming practices in Fiji. Join our Farm Manager on a guided tour through the Sheraton Denarau Farm, a 5-acre organic oasis of fresh Fijian produce, to learn about more sustainable farming practices such as hydroponics and more. Plant Hawaiian Pawpaw (papaya) tree saplings in support of the hotel's collaboration with the Mamanuca Environment Society (MES) to plant 3,000 native and fruit trees annually.

Indulge in the vibrant flavors of sustainability as our resort produces a bounty of fresh farm produce, including mint, basil, rosemary, thyme, chillies, guava, sugar-cane, spring onions, pumpkin, hydroponic lettuce, and more. Committed to eco-conscious practices, these locally grown treasures find their way back to our resort restaurants, ensuring a farm-to-table experience that not only tantalizes your taste buds but also reflects our dedication to a sustainable and responsible culinary journey.

Guests can embark on an enlightening Farm to Fork dining experience, immersing themselves in the ethos of the Sheraton Farm. Live participation is encouraged in local traditions and customary performances such as the significant social ritual - Kava ceremony, Fijian heritage cultural recital 'Meke' that combines dance, song and storytelling, and native fire walking Vilavilairevo, all designed to welcome and unite guests before indulging in a delightful Fijian Lovo, a traditional underground cooking method.
