About the Sheraton DGRC Farm

Our environmental advocates, along with the AgriOps Manager and the local community, extend an invitation to guests to participate in the conservation of the environment and the preservation of biodiversity on the Fijian islands. Nestled between restaurant Heineken House and Denarau Golf & Racquet Club, 5-acre farmland employs sustainable farming methods to cultivate organic fruits, herbs, and vegetables, supplying the resort's restaurants and bars.


Embark on a unique and meaningful experience with our Tree Planting initiative in support of the hotel's collaboration with the Mamanuca Environment Society (MES) to plant 3,000 native and fruit trees annually. Guests are invited to partake in a hands-on journey of planting Hawaiian Pawpaw (Papaya), a crop that thrives abundantly in Fiji's fertile soil. Celebrated for its high yield, this tropical fruit not only graces our landscape but also serves as a rich source of vitamins and enzymes, offering natural benefits for pain relief and medicinal purposes. Furthermore, it serves as a natural remedy, aiding in the prevention and treatment of various ailments while also acting as a natural repellent. Due to increasingly intense and unpredictable weather events, there is a need to promote awareness around more sustainable farming practices in Fiji. Join our Farm Manager on a guided tour through the Sheraton Denarau Farm, a 5-acre organic oasis of fresh Fijian produce, to learn about more sustainable farming practices such as hydroponics and more.
